Temporarily grounded

Well I’m here in Rotorua and the plan was to leave Gisborne and come to Rotorua, pick up another camera which was being sent to me and carry on through…well…

I’m still here in Rotorua waiting for my camera!!! And I just re-read my other post about everything unfolding, well this is all part of the unfolding of this journey…a real test of my patience!!!

But actually its worked out ok because for whatever reason the end of the week has been a better time for people. The weather has become cooler for travel (yes!!) and I get to reorganise myself for this on the road, nomadic lifestyle that I am going to have over the next weeks! So maybe my trip will be extended a few more days. Oh bummer that :)

So am sitting tight and appreciating the time I get to spend in the place where I grew up, where my Te Arawa roots are firmly grounded…and spending time with whanau always grounds me in reality and the present moment – which is always great for my patience!

Will see you in the West shortly!!

Would love to hear from you!

Arohanui,

Jo :)
